Keyword highlighting in RNS News stories
With a pool of selected keywords, which are highlighted in RNSs....making them much easier to read.
I would like a service which looks for key phrases in RNS releases e.g. "ahead of expectations" and displays any stocks qualifying. This could sit under the "New Screen Ideas" tab. The phrases would ideally be defined on a per user basis but I'd settle for an overall consensus. Who needs to shift through RNS every day looking for key indicators. This would be a massive time saver.
When looking at news articles or company reports would be good to have a RAG system for key words similar to what ADVFN has, quick and easy way of picking out key strengths/weaknesses
We do plan to do more on the RNS analysis side of things, but it’s likely to be early next year.
I think this is very similar to the RAG proposed by gcope, which would give it a few more votes
I find this very useful on advfn and was going to suggest it myself.
I also find a filter by type (as per Halifax services) useful
I think there is great potential with the integration of RNS.
I'd like to see the key word system added.
Then I'd like you to analyse an RNS based on my keywords and estimate the 'redness', 'amberness' or 'greenness' of the report and allow me to order RNS based on this factor.
In that way I could quickly scan RNS for the positive statements (Green).
Further to that I'd like an advanced RNS filter that allows me to filter on:
market cap, sector, industry, announcement type and 'greeness'
